When Rustic & Real Designs first began, we didn’t start with a big business plan or fancy equipment. My wife, Hilary, started creating handmade items on her Cricut because she loved making meaningful things for family and friends. However, before long, people started asking for personalized gifts, handcrafted wood signs, and custom décor pieces of their own. What started as a small creative hobby quickly grew into something much bigger. One machine turned into several, and our small side project became a faith-based family business focused on handcrafted wood signs, laser engraved décor, custom tumblers, apparel, and personalized gifts.
